This was the place to be last night, no doubt about it. A luau at Island Lake Marina in Fort Collins (what an amazing place!), with Coyote Gold Margaritas, beer from New Belgium Brewery, food from Pappy's Corner Pub and music from Who Brought Larry?. The crowd was absolutely amazing.... some of the most fun and nicest people I have met. You all know how to have a great time!
The benefit raised money to make three children's dreams come true. Macdonald Family Charity makes it happen...
-Connor - A little boy from Loveland who dreams of swinging on a swing. Because of his medical conditions he is unable to go to the park and enjoy the play equipment. He would love to have a swing in this own backyard to ride on any time he is physically able.
-Jackson- A little boy from Fort Collins who dreams of visiting Morgan's Wonderland, a family fun park designed specifically for kids with special needs. He has Cerebral Palsy that limits how much he can enjoy other amusement parks.
-Gabriel- A little boy form Loveland who is from a family with a low income. Because Mom is also sick, the family is very limited on things they can enjoy outside of their own home. He dreams of having a regular outing like other kids his age to the Denver Zoo.
